CPR Railstation

The building is an one story Canadian Pacific Railway station. The present building was completed in 1947 and the building is an excellent representation of the  art deco style which has been designated by the Ontario Heritage Trust to maintain its unique features it into the future. We believe that this is one of four similar station built after World War II to reinvigorate passenger rail traffic in Ontario. We have included a few pictures here from our first tour of the building, despite being left empty for a number of years the building was and is in great shape with tons of unique features such as the birch panelling, the ticket area and washrooms that are being preserved.
